In my opinion, the most well produced 3D platformer of the era. The game's hallmark was its lack of load times, but it was a solid title, controlled well and had simple but varied objectives. A joy.
A fantastic game that holds up well even to this day!
The best of the trilogy and thats not an light statement considering the legacy of it. Beautiful and seamlessly open ended enviroments with a fantastic art direction, wonderful platforming challenges that contribute to the world and thier design, enjoyable story for a platformer with good writing and a solid atmosphere with an great soundtrack. Has aged amazingly for a first attempt at an much more open game than other Naughty Dog games like Crash and is just very fun to play today.
