Here is how you can enter the Street Fighter V Beta!

After teasing us with a few details about possible early access at the Sony E3 event, but now full details have been released about how gamers from across the world can play the new Street Fighter game from as early as July!


The people behind Street Fighter V, Capcom have announced the way users can play the beta version of the game in what they claim will be the “largest and most ambitious online beta program in franchise history.”  The ways in which you can apply to play differ depending on region so here is a full guide to how you can qualify…

Fans of the series in Europe will have to sign up to play via the PlayStation Network. You can sign up here and it will open till the 15th July. Once the lucky ones have been chosen they will receive a confirmation email with all the details needed to access the beta on the 23rd July.

If you’re interested in playing and you live in the U.S. or Canada, you can get beta key by pre-ordering the game from GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy or the PSN. The retailers will then email you with the the beta key on the 20th July. Those pre-ordering from the PSN will not have to go through a code but will automatically be able to download the beta on the 20th.

For those in various countries acriss Asia you can gain access to the beta version by going to the PlayStaion Store and downloading the Street Fighter V Closed Beta Test Ticket. You can only do this if you’re a PlayStation Plus member and you will recive your confimation email from the 9th-14th, except in Japan where applications will be accepted from the 8th-13th July.
