Masahrio Sakurai, the Super Smash Bros. director, released a series of exciting new content at the E3 conference.
One of the main developments is the return of character ‘Roy’ to the series. A melee swordfighter this time around has enhanced strength and more powerful than ever with an updated design. This time around he has a final smash, delivering a devastating sword blow.
Lucas will also be revived, from Super Smash Bros Brawl. A particularly popular character.
Mii Fighters, Mii Swordfighter, Mii Brawler and Mii Gunner Amiibo will also be made available along with others in September. Eventually all 51 fighters will be released as Amiibo. Mewtwo and Lucas Amiibo will also be released.
If all this wasn’t enough, then Sakurai announced that more stages would be released. Kirby Stage Dream Land from Super Smash Bros. on Nintendo 64 will be available, with the original style recreated. More other stages have been planned from the original.
Tourney Mode on Wii U, will feature community tourneys to compete for the highest amount of points, as well as regular tourneys which will only happen at certain times. You will have to wait a bit longer to experience these though.
Video replays will now be able to be uploaded to YouTube. With this particular feature, they will be saved as normal video files. To use the feature, you will need a Google account.
Ryu of Street Fighter will also join the battle. He will have a wide range of moves at his disposal. Familiar Street Fighter moves will also be available. His signature move ‘Hadouken’ will also be available to use. Ryu will have his own stage, Suzaku Castle. These new additions and new content is going to add to an already incredible Super Smash Bros. line up.
These features are all already available for download.
